Ride to Murrurundi to the VVMC “FSB Pearlbrook” property on Scotts Creek Road MURRURUNDI NSW 2338 for Longtan Memorial day run departing Friday 14.8.14 returning Sun 16.8.14
Patriots Australia NSW Chapter will conduct a run to Murrurundi VVMC property “FSB PEARLBROOK” 31 45’30.65”S 150°56’49.40”E Elev: 405m. (Cold) Scotts Creek Rd Murrurundi NSW 2338, on 14, 15 & 16th Aug 2015
Possible RV with Patriots Australia Western Ranges Chapter Friday 14.AUG 2013 at campsite.
The Run will be conducted in 2 phases.
PHASE 1: RUN UP TO MURRURUNDI
14 Aug 15 1200 START POINT. Depart MacDonald’s Windsor (Cnr. Windsor Road & Groves Ave MCGRATH’S HILL) for a quick trip up the Putty Road to Singleton.
Distance to next stop 174km / 2.5 hours
14 AUG 15 1500 Depart Caltex Roadhouse Singleton (Top of McDougall’s HILL, 5km. north of Singleton). Pick up Hunter members, refuel
Distance to Destination 118km / 1.5 hours
14 AUG 15 1650 Arrive Murrurundi
15 Aug 15 1545 Service
PHASE 2: RETURN HOME.
16 AUG 15 1000 Reverse of above
The Release Point for this run is Singleton. This will allow members to return to Sydney via the Putty Rd or via the Freeway as required.
ADMINISTRATION & LOGISTICS.
Need Road Capt. for Sydney contingent
Request for a good attendance from members.
All bikes to arrive at departure point with full tanks and are to be serviceable.
There will be no backup vehicle
Maximum distance between fuels stops 175km (approx.).
Entry to site is $15.00 per person
Camping site has been arranged adjacent to VVMC Club Rooms with possible Patriots Australia Western Ranges Chapter.
Ablutions are available for brief periods each morning.
Full bar facilities No BYO. (Purchase by ticket system)
Lunch on 16 Aug 13 own expense in Murrurundi prior to arrival at site.
Evening Meal and Breakfast available. (Cost TBC)
Motels available in Motel Valley View Murrurundi Some rooms have already been booked
The New England Highway is the main inland route to Brisbane! The Last 5 km is loose gravel and slippery when wet.

Gates open 10 am at Pearlbrook near Murrurundi (follow the signs along Timor Road to Scotts Creek Road). $20 per person; under 18-year-olds admitted free. Kids welcome. Trade stalls, plenty of food & a well stocked bar. Commemorative Service to commence at 3.40 pm. live musical entertainment Plenty of camping spots available from Friday. Bring your warm clothing.
